The 131 Preview Review Rules and disclaimer

I will read the first 131 pages of your FICTION Manuscript, be it finished or not, and give a review of the story so far. And If you wish and I certainly hope you do, there will also be a Q and A Interview, I enjoy doing them, and it is most fun after having sampled from your writing vein.

I have been batting around ideas on how to keep up with all the books and Authors out there with whom I have become acquainted with since really hitting cyberspace. In so far as my writing career is concerned at least. There are SO MANY NOVELS! HOW CAN I CHOOSE JUST ONE!! Well I have decided that I really cannot.

That I want to try all the flavours!! Albeit in small doses! (Just in case) Let’s face it there is no way that you or I will LOVE everything we read from the fiction world, but like the lottery you can’t know if you've got a winner if you don’t play.
Why 131 pages, do you ask. Well it is my lucky number and with most works of long length, by the time you hit this number you can pretty much tell how you feel about a work, and yet you have not invested more than a few hours of your time, so it is a good round place to put in the book marker.
I hope to hear from you and wish you the best in your writing endeavors!
Happy Writing!

The 131 Rules
1: First and foremost, it is to be understood that I am a writer, I have my own sets of judgments on what I consider good work, for the free price, you will get an honest review on your plot, and characters that I will have met in the 131 page journey.
2: I am open to original works, please do not inquire with fan fiction, or ask me to read something you did not write. I do not want to meet some one else’s characters, I want to meet yours!

3: I will not review YA, or younger. I simply can not relate to the younger sub-genera characters. Sorry, but at least I'm honest about it! H have a liking for paranormal, murder/mystery and Thrillers. I also enjoy comedic works and Literary Fiction. If you don't know what genera you are, so long a your protagonist is old enough to drink send me a query.
4:If your work is less than 131 pages, then YES I will read the entirety of it. I will not go over 131st page however. That is my cut off.
5: For the process of the Interview Section, I can and will e-mail the questions to you when I have Finished the read. I have a set of questions, but they may change depending on your work. However, if you are a Facebook user and would like to do the interview by chat I would be thrilled to oblige. I actually prefer this, as I can expand on questions on the fly. This way I can truly weave your interview in a more conversational way, rather than simply copy, and paste your answers next to the proverbial A: spot. Often an answer will lead to a better question, I love to pick the brains of others, and you can be no exception if you like
6: During the Review, I will not comment on typos, issues of continuity if they exist, or grammatical errors of any kind. That is part of your job as the keeper of your own words. If you want an editor, that is another conversation all together. One in which money will be discussed.
7: If you wish to have me channel my inner Grammar Nazi, it can be arranged for a mere $60.00 PayPal transaction. I am not the Queen of Editing, but I do have fresher eyes than you when it comes to your work. I will discuss the issues if I see them, with you and only you. No one else ever need know about it if you so choose. Simply use the contact form linked to below and include Fresh Eyes Edit in the subject.
8: If you are interested in the 131 Preview Review, please contact me via the contact form located here. Provide me with your name, email address and a short description of your work.
9: Be Patient. Expect that you are probably not the only person whose work I will be reading, but I will reply to you with in 4-36 hours from initial contact. To discuss the thick and thin of what I do in more detail. I do 2 reviews each month, so their may be a wait, but I think my work so far speaks well.
I hope to hear from you and wish you the best in your writing endeavors!
Happy Writing!

The In Dreams... Series, The Roads Trilogy, is the accumulation of almost eight years of writing. Begun in 2006 after a D&D campaign

ended S.I.Hayes took the world and created the Unavoidable Road. It took five years as

Shannon spent many months at a time in an undiagnosed Bi-Polar fog.

In 2010, she finally found the help she needed and she has been writing feverishly ever since

The first book wast over 130,000 words, so she decided that it needed to be smaller if only tonot scare readers away form an unknown book that was so thick.

Thus the first trilogy was born.

In between she became the CoAuthor to Awakenings: The Wrath Saga, a Paranormal Drama likened to Big Brother Meets The Real World, of the Preternatural, Several blogs and her own website.
