But Holiday is being torn up inside. Her secret world has been revealed to her unknowing husband and his love for her is dying as a result. He can not wrap his head around her "real job." Assassin for hire. The number of people she has killed over the years is a blur to her, and even gives her a moments pause when he asks. He is turning from her, even as he admits that he loves her still. Their world is in shambles, as Holiday begs him to stay hidden in the walls of a trusted friends compound if only to protect their daughter from Ava, who will kill everyone she needs to in order to obtain the child.
While Holiday is trying to mend her marriage on the wing and prayer of a single night, her sisters Orenda, Rebecca, Tia and Delores are hatching a plan to extract information from a ruthless young killer by the name of Xavier, with the help of David, (our heroine's ex lover) and his partner Anthony, (lovingly dubbed "Robin" for his side kick appeal). Holiday would rather the two men disappear into the sunset, but David will not give up on her, and her sisters keep telling her to go git um'.
Eye rolls aside there's a pretty kick ass reason to her hardfelt attraction to both her Hubby Joe, and the smokin' hot David.....
I ain't givin up to you though!! Bwahahahaha..... Go Read it!
But wait!! Tere's more to this dog and pony show, I might even throw in a donkey... Or a half naked girl dancing around wielding a screwdriver to inflict subcutaneous wounds...
These sisters aren't playing any games and the torture Xavier is put under is completely justified... The sick fucker definitely deserves every thing that happens to him.
That's all I'm going to give you, except to say that the paranormal twist of Holidays true heritage is really rather good, so climb in to the covers, grab some snacks cuz the food descriptions over all the torturous bonding will have you raiding the fridge and looking over your shoulder... Especially at 2 am...
