In New Orleans, Louisiana, something with a weird sense of humor is stranding myth in a nonmagical world.
Tiffany and friends are adjusting nicely to life with Miracai, the cantankerous, carnivorous unicorn, and Verna, the Fairy Godmother. They have high hopes of returning to a semi-normal life, but whatever is controlling the strings of fate isn’t going to let that happen.
Adding to the daily chaos, an honest-to-goodness leprechaun is dropped into the living room. Verna wants him to leave her alone, Janet and Tiffany would love to drop him off the roof, Miracai prefers him medium rare, and only Mark is able to tolerate the newbie for more than a few minutes at a time.
Much to Mark’s dismay, Kieran the Leprechaun is prone to creating vast amounts of mischief, and with it being St. Patrick’s Day weekend, he hopes they can figure out why the leprechaun is in NOLA before they run out of bail money.
Mark’s nerves are frayed, between Damn Duck’s Houdini tricks and Kieran’s hijinks, he’s not sure everyone can keep their sanity. He’d be happy if all of them came out in one piece.
A man can always hope...
And that's just the beginning.
So, I'm doing something different, typically I do a rundown of a summary of the work and point out what I may have liked... But author T.J. Loveless does such a stunning job in her book description that I don't have anything to add!!
*Crosses arms with a har-umgh*
But I'm okay with that. There is so much laughter through out the tale that I could probably revisit all of it.
So like the decript says the motley crew is joined by a mischievous sprite of a Leprechaun named Keirnan. But he's nothing like the Leprechauns we've ever seen. Yes, yes he's decked out in head to toe GREEN crushed velvet!! But he's well over 5 feet tall and looks like Gerald Butler!! *Le Swoon*
He's fuckin' hot, but also a huge PAIN IN THE ASS!! Left alone in Marks house for just a few moments and the house looks like a tornado slammed it! TV hanging off the wall... The kitchen upside down...
I loved the chaos of it all, right down to the St. Patrick's Day Bar Brawl!! The scrapper tosses a Green Beer in a patrons face and does a nose dive into the crowd fists flying!!!
Very Typically Irish... And I'm a mick mutt so I can say that!!! You NEED TO READ THIS SERIES!!!
Trust me you won't be disappointed!!!
