Anyhoo, today we have a different sort of Review, yes I'll be gushing! But that's what happens when a Vampire locks in for the long meal... LMFAO!
I'll be running my mouth off about two awesome paranormal anthologies that have recently hit the Amazon stands. The 1st is Vampires Romance to Rippers An anthology of Tasty Stories.
This is the creative baby of Scarlette D'Noire who took it upon herself to do a call out for papers, excerpts and short stories all starring vampires and vampire inspired works. This one has the more "tame" tales, but they are no less intriguing. Truth be told after the Twilight insanity, I've steered clear of vampire works.
But after the Anthologies, I came to realize that there are still good tales to be told! In this first installment you are taken by the multitude of authors from the high reaches of a monastery with a mysterious "Guest", to the dark and alluring tale of Dracula's conquest over his inevitable Fourth Bride ending with the intriguing story More Than Friends...
Each tale is unique in its telling and does it job in leaving you wanting to know more about it. This hunger is satiated by links in the Kindle Versions, (which are FREE From 10/31/13 to 11/2/13!!) to each of the Authors involved.
I have to say it's really an awesome way to get your work noticed and become a part of something new and Fresh on the Indy market!
And I speak from experience, see the Second Anthology, Vampires Romance to Rippers An Anthology of Risque Stories has a feature from Will, and I. From Awakenings: The Wrath Saga. These Stories as the title suggests are of a more tantalizing nature. While the first anthology focused on the gore and romantic elements we all LOVE about the VAMPIRE MYTHOS, this one adds the bones of more Adult Themes.
A study if you will into the pseudo-sexual, and sometimes down right borderline pornographic allure of our blood thirsty demon lovers. One of the authors Bertena Varney, and I'm paraphrasing here, writes with a blush, "Let's face it there is something so hot about an immortal bad boy/girl who wants to do the things to you that you can't even admit to wanting."
These Risque Stories are truly something to be savored and when your pulse stops pumping there are more buttons begging to be pressed!
